ABOUT US
Abodie Construction began with a shared passion for transforming spaces and a vision to make high-quality home design and remodeling accessible to all. Founded by Sammy and Jarod in 2022, our journey started as two young entrepreneurs with a hands-on approach to real estate, design, and remodeling.
Our first projects were personal: fixing up properties and discovering a love for creating customized, functional spaces. Driven by a desire to help others find the perfect home solutions, we built Abodie to offer a full-service experience, blending Jarod’s real estate expertise and Sammy’s eye for design. Today, we’re known for our seamless, end-to-end service, guiding clients through everything from home buying to renovation. With Abodie, our goal is to create spaces that feel like home and bring value for years to come.

A Love Story
We're Jarod and Sammy, a husband and wife team that started this journey with our first home purchase in Eden Prairie, MN in 2021 at the ages of 22.
After spending several months renovating then renting out the main floor of our home and living in the basement (thanks to many hours of bigger pockets podcasts and books for the house-hack idea), we learned the power of real estate and the freedom it can provide even at a young age.
Jarod found his passion for contracting while renovating our home and quickly learned the ins and outs of home remodeling/construction. He obtained his contractor's license in 2022, and shortly after, Abodie Construction was created. Sammy, having a love for design from an early age, self-taught her interior design skills through investment projects, learning the intricate details of space planning and material education. She left her corporate job in 2024 and is now a Creative Director, overseeing design and overall creative presence.

We now take on our own real estate investments and client-facing projects. Our investment projects help us flex our creative muscle, improve our systems/processes so we can show up best for our clients, as well as offer an example to others on how to get your foot in the door with real estate. We understand the importance of making a house feel more like a home and it is our goal to reflect that in each of our projects.
Our team is changing the way construction is done by providing a seamless, stress-free process for homeowners to enjoy their newly transformed spaces as quickly as possible. It would be our honor to assist you in your home journey!
